Saga Releases integration with MS Outlook,
PDA's & Cell Phones
September 1, 2007 - Saga is
pleased to announce the release of its latest addition to the Saga
Smart Fusion Suite – integrations with Microsoft Outlook, and
through it, with all cell phones, Blackberry, Pocket PCs, Palms and
all hand-held devices that can synch with Microsoft Outlook.
This integration has been requested by users
for some time now and it complements Saga’s current integrations
with QuickBooks & eLaw which were released earlier this year.
Here’s how it works: Users can choose the type
of record to be uploaded to Microsoft Outlook from Saga’s workflow.
For instance, Howard Stein can set his preferences to upload only
his own appointments & court events to Outlook. Mary Smith may
choose to upload critical deadlines such as statutes of limitation
as well as court hearings and appointments. Those records in turn
will show up on their personal MS Outlook. At any time, they can
upload to their hand held device (Blackberry, cell phone and any
PDA) and carry it with them.
To be eligible for this upgrade users must be
using Saga Practice Manager version 9.1 and be a subscriber to
Saga’s maintenance plan. To learn more about this upgrade please
call Saga at 212-370-5700.
